Tree Stories

Trees are a reference point both in my work and in my life. I notice the trees. Their roots, their trunk, their leaves, their branches, the air that sings among them and the birds that inhabit them. I have memories of trees. And through these photos, I've somehow collected tree stories. The trees, like ancient fossilized gods, or nymphs of Greek mythology that were transformed into trees to escape jealous gods, sometimes they look at us silently, sometimes they dance, sometimes they stand silently waiting for the storm... The project has been in progress since 2009.
