Greece

The Greece I try to capture in my photographs with my five senses, and even more so with a sixth sense once, are perhaps fragments of a memory that goes back to my childhood. Greece to me is the home of birds, from sparrows to swallows that arrive from Africa every Spring, the homeland of the unwaved or suddenly stormy in the midst of summer sea, sun and shadow, the snail that as a watchful eye sees everything in a corner, while we unsuspecting walkers see it only after the rain. Greece is for me a lot that I try to listen to in wandering time. I'm putting these photographs in a visual language of symbols and allegories.
My work "Greece" is an ongoing project since summer of 2013.
