Ιasis

The photographic works Iasis I and Iasis III refer to the ancient Greek concept of therapy. The symbol of the snake refers to Asclepios, in ancient Greek Ἀσκληπιός, god of medicine in ancient Greek mythology. The works were created in my birthplace Thessaly, Greece, a region where Asclepius was particularly honored. Ongoing project since 2016.
